An inauguration ceremony was held in Bene Baraque to celebrate the successful completion of the pilot and formally hand over the project to the community. The event was well attended by the community, project partners, elders from the quartier and politicians.
During the pilot action days the project partners worked together with companies from the area and workers from the community to install water evacuation and sanitation systems along one of the main axes of the quartier.

The action day urban gardening and greening was held to revitalise the banks of the lake, make them safe for the residents and create a new source of income for women from the quartier.
